Attacking a well defended strangle from mount

10/20/2020

Attacking from the Pinch Mount is an advanced option. The new angle of attack can expose the armbar and collar chokes. However, there can be an opportunity for the opponent to escape if they can pass your far leg over their head. Countering it involves staying mobile and disabling the lever of their arm by focusing your weight on to it. Finishing the strangle can be done any number of ways.
