Course description

Designed to prepare University undergraduate women with the appropriate mindset and skill set so they can not only be safe, but also get the most enjoyment out of campus life.

• Legalities of Use of Force, Assault, Violent Crime
• Boundary Setting
• Escaping Grabs & Holds
• Managing Unknown Contacts
• Fighting & Escaping When On the Ground/Under the Assailant
• Utilizing Pepper Spray
• The Role of the Small Defensive Knife in Surviving a Violent Felony
• What to do after an Assault or Attempted Assault/Interacting with the Police

Schedule:

• Day 1, 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
• Day 2, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Day 3, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
